Upside Down

Tate found Sparkle Hope hanging on the garland where we hang our Christmas cards.  She was upside down.  It seemed funny.  It looked like her collar was hanging in her face.  I think it would be hard to hang upside down all day long.

In a Wreath

Today I found Sparkle Hope in a Christmas wreath.  She was up high.  She looked comfortable but I couldn't see her legs.

Nice shot!

Today I found Sparkle Hope.  She was hiding in the basketball game and was wearing my superhero cape from Tate's birthday party.  I thought she looked like a superhero.

Later that day, Tate played basketball and knocked her down.  I gave her a candy cane and Daddy set her back up, using the cape to make sure not to touch her.

Peek a Boo

We had just put glass balls in our vases and Sparkle Hope hid in them.  She was peeking out of them.  She had to fly with her Christmas magic to get in there.  She had a good hiding spot, but Tate finally found her.

Fruity

I looked for Sparkle Hope, but today Tate found her sitting in the fruit bowl.  She looked like she was eating a pear.  It made me hungry for a pear.

Snowball Fight!

Today Sparkle Hope was easy to find.  She was on the counter having a snowball fight with a storm trooper and a super hero.  Sparkle Hope's teammate was the gingerbread man.  It looked like Sparkle Hope was winning the snowball fight.  Tate and I got to eat three marshmallows.

A sleepy elf

We looked for Sparkle Hope and couldn't find her.  When I went into the bathroom I found her sleeping in a Kleenex box.  She looked funny.

Soooorrrryy

Today we found Sparkle Hope right away.  She was playing Sorry with her friends--the ponies, superheroes and W and Lu, the stuffed dog and whale.  She was green.  She was winning.  It was funny.  She took up the whole craft table.  It was funny to find her there.  I think it will be harder to find her tomorrow.

Where is she?

This morning we looked everywhere for Sparkle Hope.  We looked under the couch, on the counter, we even looked in Sullivan's toy shopping cart.  We almost gave up looking for her.  Finally, we looked up and there she was!  She was peeking out of the white Christmas basket above the sliding back door.  She watched us while we ate our breakfast (oatmeal with apple crisp - yum!) and got ready for church.  Good hiding Sparkle Hope!

Sparkle Hope Came Yesterday

On the way home from Grandma's house I didn't expect to find Sparkle Hope.  But there she was, sitting on the kitchen table.  I was excited, happy and surprised all at the same time.  I now knew that she would be watching me from now on.  December is going to be fun!

Sparkle Hope's First Day With Our Family

I got Sparkle Hope in my stocking from Santa last year.  I was happy to get an Elf on the Shelf.  We read a book that she came with.  Tate wanted her name to be Hope and I wanted her name to be Sparkle so we named her Sparkle Hope.  She has blue eyes and brown hair.  She likes to hide.
